I focused on the pineal gland of the brain, the part of the organ that feels spiritual richness.
The pineal gland is also called the Third Eye in the sense of the spiritual mind's eye.
The philosopher Descartes called it “the principal seat of the soul.”

The pineal gland is said to have spiritual power and there are a number of myths in which the gods of various religions around the world were awakened by their Third Eye.

In Buddhism, the white Urna, or spiral dot, between Buddha's eyebrows is his Third Eye, said to shine light to illuminate the world, and in Yoga, it is associated with the 6th and 7th chakras.

I wanted to physically incorporate the existence of the Third Eye, our spiritual mind, and the design for this was inspired by the ripples from a drop of water that fell upon the spring of my mind.

What I value most in the activities I undertake to express my art these days – Producing work by sincerely facing it with a strong belief in my own way of art, and flipping conventional wisdom on its head, while still infusing work with meaning, and yet, with avant-garde ideas.

I am confident that Third eye® is a work of art that transcends the boundaries of what we call eyewear.

Break the barriers of common sense and have fun with an artistic expression of the face.
